The Casa das Pedriñas, also known as the "Casa do Bailarín", is located in the municipality of A Veiga, near the Prada reservoir. This building was designed by the sculptor and painter Daniel Mancebo, who earned the nickname of the "Gaudí of A Veiga".
Mr. Mancebo dedicated 25 years of his life to building this work from the first stone laid in 1970 and used all the means at his disposal for its construction.
We are talking about a house that is covered with small coloured pebbles, pieces of glass, shells, bottles... which are clearly reminiscent of the modernist style of the well-known Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. In fact, the author wanted to pay homage to the architect of the Sagrada Familia.
A unique monument that you can't miss.
