O CEBREIRO
This village is the gateway to Galicia. It goes through the French way of the Camino de Santiago.
Several pallozas are preserved in it. They are houses built in stone and with a thatched roof.
In one of them there is an ethnographic museum where you can discover more about the customs of the area.
Also in O Cebreiro it is possible to visit the pre-Romanesque church, preserved in its entirety, the oldest on the Camino de Santiago.

Finally leaving the village, in the direction of Triacastela, we find one of the most emblematic points of the French Way, the Monument to the Pilgrim, located in the Alto de San Roque.
The statue invites us to stop to rest and enjoy the scenery.
