The presence of hot springs, an obligatory stop on the Camino de la Plata, the one followed by walkers from the south of the Iberian Peninsula. It provides a boost and great relief for the walker's feet. Thanks to its strategic location, they have made Ourense a milestone on the Camino de Santiago since its inception.

As for the public hot springs, it is the largest thermal space in the city, and has 3 hot springs and one with cold water (for contrast).

The entire area of the public baths is landscaped and there are changing rooms, bathrooms and even showers. In summer it is common for a beach bar to be open where you can have a drink. You can go at any time, any day of the year, as the venue is always open.
