In La Casa de Ana in Fisterra we are very lucky to enjoy a privileged location. Located on the main façade of the old salting factory in San Roque, at the southern end of Langosteira Beach, the house allows an experience, both for adults and children, of a connection with immediate Nature. In a world where more and more children are moving away from contact with Nature, Fisterra is a privileged place, both for the eyes and for the senses. Walking its paths, strolling along its beaches (some quieter like Langosteira and other brave like Mar de Fora), mountains and villages at any time of the year connects you immediately with Nature and La Casa de Ana is in an unbeatable location for that connection.

The house is located at the foot of Langosteira beach, 1.5 km from the centre of Fisterra. The singularity of the landscape of Fisterra gave rise to numerous legends and stories transmitted by oral tradition. The historian Lucius Florus records that when Decimus Junius Brutus arrived in Fisterra in 137 B.C., he did not want to leave without contemplating how the sun swallowed the sea. In this sense, it is said that the Romans found here an altar dedicated to the sun, known as Ara Solis.Cape Fisterra is also considered by sailors as a dangerous point, like the Galician Cape Horn, surrounded by the rough sea of the Atlantic Ocean.
