Forget the rainy weather that dominates Galicia. Sanxenxo has a microclimate with more hours of sunshine and a higher temperature than the rest of the community. In summer, the average is 24º -on hot days it can exceed 30º-, while the annual average is 15º, since its south orientation protects it from the cold north winds.
In the town of Sanxenxo there are several beaches, but it could be said that the most representative are: Silgar and Panadeira, both with very fine white sand, like all those of the Pontevedra estuary.
